OBS Scholarship 2026
On 5th September 2026, the Mayo Old Boys Society proudly hosted the 2nd
OBS Scholarship Initiative at the NCS Hub, Mayo College, Ajmer, a landmark
event celebrating academic excellence and the enduring Mayo legacy.
The scholarship was awarded to a batch of students from Class 7 to Class 11, all
sons of Old Boys. Each recipient was presented with a Certificate of Merit, recognising both their academic achievement and their commitment to the values and traditions that define a true Mayoite.
This year, the initiative expanded to include a sports scholarship alongside the academic awards, honouring excellence both in the classroom and on the field.
Every award carried a meaningful monetary contribution, celebrating the hard
work and dedication of these deserving students. But beyond the financial support, the scholarship represents something deeper — a bridge between
generations, ensuring that the legacy of the Mayo Old Boys continues to live on through their children.
More than an academic honour, this initiative is a tribute to tradition, a reaffirmation of shared values, and a promise to nurture the talent of tomorrow. Through this ongoing investment in education, the Mayo Old Boys Society continues to deepen its bond with the institution, celebrating excellence and honouring the generations who have walked through its historic gates.
