This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs payments made towards membership subscriptions, event registrations, donations, merchandise purchases, and other Society-related activities.
1. Membership Fees
Membership fees paid to the Mayo Old Boys Society are generally non-refundable, except in cases where a duplicate payment has been made or where a payment has been erroneously processed due to a technical error.
Requests for refunds under such circumstances must be submitted in writing within 15 days of the transaction date.
2. Event Registrations
Registration fees paid for reunions, alumni events, chapter gatherings, sports tournaments, and other Society programmes may be eligible for cancellation or refund only if expressly stated in the event-specific registration terms.
Where refunds are permitted:
• Cancellation requests must be submitted before the specified deadline.
• Administrative or processing charges may be deducted from the refund amount.
• No refunds will be issued after the announced cancellation deadline.
3. Donations
Donations and voluntary contributions made to the Mayo Old Boys Society, scholarships, charitable initiatives, or fundraising campaigns are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
4. Merchandise Purchases
For merchandise sold through the website, refunds or replacements may be considered in the following circumstances:
• Incorrect item delivered.
• Product received in damaged condition.
• Manufacturing defect identified upon delivery.
Any such request must be reported within 7 days of receipt of the product and accompanied by relevant proof, including photographs where applicable.
Normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage occurring after delivery shall not qualify for refund or replacement.
5. Duplicate Transactions
In the event of an accidental duplicate payment, users may request a refund by providing transaction details and proof of payment. Upon verification, the excess amount will be refunded through the original mode of payment wherever feasible.

• Allow transfer of registration to a future event; or
