Balika Scholarship 2026
An initiative by Batch of 1985
From Dreams to Degrees
On 25th April 2026, the Balika Scholarship Ceremony was hosted at NCS Hub, Mayo College, Ajmer, where 13 bright young girls were awarded scholarships.

What began as a vision in 2014 has now blossomed into a life-changing mission by the Mayo College Class of 1985. Over the past decade, our collective effort has supported the daughters of our college’s dedicated non-teaching staff, ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of their education. To date, we have distributed more than ₹12,50,000 in scholarships.

Scholarship Success
This year, we celebrate a truly inspiring milestone: Priya, one of our long-time scholarship recipients, has officially become a doctor, graduating from Jhalawar Medical College! Her journey was made possible through the extraordinary generosity of our batchmate Mr. Neeraj Seth, who established The Dr. P. C. Seth Scholarship and contributed ₹3,17,000 to fully fund her MBBS studies. In recognition of her achievement, Dr. Priya was honored with a special scholarship of ₹50,000, presented by Maharaj Eklavya Singh Jaisalmer (Batch of 1992) President of the Mayo Alumni Association Ajmer.

Legacy Impact

From nurturing primary education to empowering future medical professionals, the Class of 1985 continues to turn dreams into reality. Our legacy is defined not by nostalgia, but by the lives we transform. When the Class of ’85 stands together, we don’t just look back—we build the future.

To celebrate our 30th year in 2015, the Mayo College Batch of 1985 has championed the "Balika Scholarship," for the past 10 years. We have distributed ₹12,50,000 to daughters of non-teaching staff of Mayo College. A standout success is Dr. Priya, who, supported by our batch and a generous ₹3,17000 contribution from Mr. Neeraj Seth (Dr. P.C. Seth Scholarship), graduated with her MBBS.
