The Jaipur Pavilion

The Jaipur Pavilion stands as a tribute to Lt. Gen. His Highness Maharaja Sir Sawai Man Singh Bahadur II, GCSI, GCIE, LLD — Ruler of Jaipur State, Rajpramukh of Rajasthan, and Ambassador of India to Spain.

A distinguished alumnus of Mayo College and a legendary 9-goal international polo player, his exploits on the polo field remain iconic. He captained the Indian team that triumphed at the World Cup in 1956, bringing glory not only to himself but also to Mayo College, Jaipur, and India.

This pavilion was inaugurated by Her Highness Rajmata Padmini Devi of Jaipur on 30th November 2012, in memory of his remarkable life and enduring contributions.
